Heritage Fair Inquiry Skill # 1 - Create Inquiry Questions
Goal # 1 (find images) COMPUTER LAB * individual work
a) Identify 2 potential Heritage Fair topics.
b) Find 3 good quality historical images for each topic . WIKIPEDIA and CANADIAN ENCYCLOPEDIA are good places to start.
c) Copy and paste images into a WORD doc
d) Copy and paste website addresses where images were found.
e) SAVE document.
Finished early? Start digging around for background info on your two potential topics. WIKIPEDIA and CANADIAN ENCYCLOPEDIA are good places to start.
Find anything cool ? Copy the link into a Word doc and SAVE THE DOCUMENT!

a) IN YOUR BOOKLET, create a "I know"/"I want to know" chart
b) create a topic web
c) write as many questions as you can about your favorite topic choices (minimum of 6 )
d) Conference with two other students to add questions to your list. *Write your partners' names down

a) Open your saved document. Choose your PREFERRED TOPIC and look at these images carefully.
b) By observing images, create at least 6 more questions for your preferred topic IN YOUR BOOKLET.
a) IN YOUR BOOKLET, create a "I know"/"I want to know" chart
